Welcome to Bronzeville Classical Elementary School!
Bronzeville Classical is an exciting new selective enrollment elementary school located on the South Side of Chicago in the city's historic Bronzeville neighborhood. Currently serving grades K-5, and adding a new grade level each year until it reaches 8th grade, Bronzeville Classical offers a liberal arts education with an accelerated academic program. All students in Chicago are welcome to apply and we encourage students to excel in literature, mathematics, language arts, world languages, and the humanities. All of our curriculum is taught at least one grade level above to help students reach their highest academic potential.
We are a warm and welcoming school community dedicated to preparing our students to be thoughtful, productive, global citizens ready to handle the challenges of the 21st century. Our environment promotes collaboration, investigation, innovation, creative problem solving and effective communication with an emphasis on developing the whole child through experiential learning.
